Vivo’s latest low-cost smartphone has been unveiled in China. The device appears to be an improvement over the Vivo Y52, which debuted last year. The Vivo Y52t’s 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9, an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. It is compatible with the common refresh rate of 60Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, built on 7nm technology and featuring 2 cores running at 2.2GHz and 6 cores at 2.0GHz, is what powers the Y52t.
8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage are used with the processor. Additionally, the phone has a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion.
