Vicon Industries is bringing a full suite of video and surveillance solutions to this month’s ISC West event. The Cemtrex subsidiary will be in booth #7083 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas where ISC West will take place March 23-25.
The Vicon portfolio includes the browser-based Valerus Video Management System (VMS), as well as the VAX access control solution and a wide range of camera hardware. All of the company’s solutions are designed to be integrated with each other to provide customers with a complete (and consolidated) video and access management solution.
On this front, Vicon’s Roughneck camera series complies with the latest NDAA standards and comes with strong license plate recognition and event detection capabilities. Edge cameras can send a real-time alert to security personnel if they detect anything suspicious (like a vagrant or an abandoned package) and process the footage locally on a given device itself. The Roughneck Multi-Sensor Series, on the other hand, includes four-camera devices that can be configured remotely and offer 180-360 degree surveillance coverage.
Valerus VMS makes it easy to view and manage all footage captured with the camera network. Timestamps can also be matched with access control events through the Vax Access Control Platform. Finally, Vicon can enable face-based access control with a new biometric access control kiosk that will be on display at ISC West.
“Our complete view of information on a centralized platform helps integrators reduce costs and gives end users a single location for alarms, making responses faster, more manageable and easier to report,” said Saagar Govil, Chairman and CEO of Cemtrex. “ISC West brings together all segments of the security industry, and we look forward to showcasing our innovative technology at this year’s event.”
Aratek and Alcatraz are some of the other companies that have made commitments to ISC West. Alcatraz, in particular, will showcase its own facial authentication and security technology.
