Super high-quality renders showcase the eerily familiar design of Apple’s 2023 iPhone SE 4

Apple’s next big iPhone just leaked in all its glory, but before you get too excited…or accuse us of using deliberately vague wording to mislead you into reading our full story below below, we must emphasize that it is not a member of the company. fall 2023 premium handset family we’re talking about here.

In place, Front Page Tech’s Jon Prosser completely blows the cover of a device slightly more humble than the “vanilla” iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 today that many analysts and insiders expect to see the light of day sometime early next year.
For a 2023 product, of course, the fourth-generation iPhone SE looks… outdated (yes, already), taking more than a few design cues from the 2018, yes, 2018 version. iPhone XR.

Long live the notch!

There’s really no way around it – the iPhone SE (2023) will look exactly the same as the 6.1-inch XR, “borrowing” everything, well, that display diagonal from the visible but not too thick side and bottom bezels to an extra-wide notch housing all the components needed to Apple’s Face ID system works perfectly without the sleekness of the aforementioned Dynamic Island double-hole punch configuration.
Unsurprisingly, this means the iPhone SE 4 will pull the wrath of the European Parliament by also keeping Apple’s proprietary Lightning port alive while presumably ‘cloning’ others iPhone XR specs and features such as screen resolution, battery capacity, and 12MP resolution of the single rear camera rendered today.

The Midnight, Starlight, and (Product)RED flavors expected from next year’s iPhone SE generation are also rendered today (in gorgeous detail), which happen to be the exact same color options as the edition. current version of the iPhone SE, released earlier this year. with a powerful Apple A15 Bionic processor under the hood.

iPhone SE 4 – likely specs and price

Prosser himself claims to have sat on these product images for a “hot minute” in anticipation of confirmation from experts like Ross Young, and while nothing is certain until he is… Certainly, this potentially divisive aesthetic take on a 2023 iPhone is about as close to installation as it gets absent an official announcement from Apple.

Unfortunately, very little else is guaranteed at this time, which doesn’t mean we can’t assume the fourth-gen iPhone SE will likely pack the same A16 SoC as the iPhone SE. iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, plus some new camera features…sort of.
With built-in 5G support, significantly more screen real estate than the iPhone SE (2022), no fingerprint sensor, no headphone jack, and no USB-C port, we’re expecting this thing to start at around $500, so sitting below the iPhone 12 on Apple’s current totem pole, although that’s obviously just a guess. And yes we are guessing the entry-level configuration will still offer the same old 64GB of internal storage space as the iPhone XR and iPhone SE 3.
