Asus rolls out February 2022 security patch for Zenfone 7/7 Pro

The Asus Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro are getting a new software update that increases their Android security patch level to February 2022. The update, version 30.41.69.170, also adds volume adjustment mode Asus & Classic.

The OTA is rolling out in batches and can take a few days to reach all units, Asus said in a ZenTalks forum post on Friday.

Asus Zenfone 7/7 Pro: Specifications

Both the Asus Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro feature a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the vanilla model packs an octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 while the Pro variant is powered by Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform.

The Zenfone 7/7 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery and a side fingerprint sensor for quick biometric authentication. The series is expected to receive the Android 12 update in the first half of 2022.
